Intimate Microwedding in Seattle, Washington

Throwing wedding season back to May of this year. My first wedding of 2023.

V + S are some of the most kind and authentic people I’ve had the joy of working with. They know what they like, they stick to it, and they are passionate about standing up for what feels right for them. I LOVE THAT.

So when it came to their wedding, they wanted it small, meaningful, and with people who they really love.

They knew they wanted a private first look (the best!) at Discovery Park, their friends band to play for the ceremony + reception, and they knew they wanted delicious food at their reception (Hello Ray’s Boathouse!)

The day was effortless in so many ways. A private first look, an intimate ceremony, minimal family photos and a delicious meal that centered around good conversations and memorable toasts. It was really beautiful.

If you are hoping for a day that anchors to the people you love, with the person you love, do it small. Have delicious food. And make for looooots of time during the reception to mingle and hug and chat with your guests.

Enjoy this sunny spring day in May shot on digital and film (35mm).
